New website

In Plumbers, Membership Benefits, Heating Engineers, Consumer Advice

The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) has launched a brand new website, created to give members more control over their membership, and consumers and professionals access to industry insights, news and advice. It’s all part of big changes behind the scenes at CIPHE HQ, with a huge upgrade to back-office systems, to streamline admin and enhance the services available to members.

The new site boasts dedicated content for the industry and consumers, along with an online shop and password protected member’s only area. The site includes advice on a range of public health issues including fuel poverty, information on careers and training, along with enhanced online tools such as the updated and improved Find a Plumbing or Heating Engineer facility. With a wealth of news, blogs and advice from the CIPHE and its partners, the new website offers a one-stop-shop for all things plumbing, heating and renewables.

CIPHE membership has gone digital with online application forms and access to digital technical resources such as downloads and videos. CIPHE members can log in to manage their membership online, or find out more about the range of benefits and services membership brings. Members can also register for free online for the Approved Contractor Person (ACP) and WaterSafe schemes, or start their path to registration with the Engineering Council at Engineering Technician, Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer levels.

CIPHE Membership Director, Tim Sainty said, “We are delighted to launch the new website. Part of our manifesto pledge for 2022 was to increase our online presence to educate the public, and to improve digital facilities to help our members be the best they can be. The new website has been designed to better inform the industry and consumers, while also ensuring CIPHE members get the most out of their membership. We have big ambitions for the website with new content and tools already planned. The launch is very much the first step, with much more to come.”
