In Events, Women

InstallerSHOW is aiming to host the biggest gathering of women in the UK cooling industry with a programme of talks and networking on day 3 of the show at the NEC, Birmingham.

The Women in Cooling event will feature an inspirational keynote speech, together with presentations and panel discussions from leading women in the industry, both in the UK and internationally.

The programme will include a networking lunch where women in the industry can forge new connections and meet their peers from both cooling and the heating sectors.

The Women in Cooling event on 27th June comes the day after World Refrigeration Day and so Thursday’s events will conclude with the announcement of the first World Refrigeration Day Influential Women Showcase.

InstallerSHOW 2024 will for the first time see our Climate Solutions Theatre hosting both cooling and heating content. Highlights include the UK launch of this year’s World Refrigeration Day, themed ‘Temperature Matters’, a lecture from heat pump ‘guru’ Graham Hendra and presentations on subjects ranging from heat recovery and supermarket cooling to F-Gas, to heat networks.
Other features at InstallerSHOW 2024 include InstallerTRADES, a dedicated tools and workwear zone, designed to give visitors the chance to see the latest products in action – and, crucially, hear from the tradespeople trying them out live at the show.

Aimed at everyone working in the trades, from heating and cooling engineers to electricians and general builders, InstallerTRADES will feature some of social media’s best known tradespeople getting hands on with the latest products from top brands. There will also be a runway show, with tradespeople modelling a range of workwear, designed to look great while working hard.

More information about the Women in Cooling event will be released as the show approaches, which will include a deeper dive into the topics in discussion at the show, as well as more about who you can expect to see on stage.
