Installers can now access a wealth of interactive tools and resources for copper and stainless steel from their phone while on a job following a major digital overhaul by a global copper supplier.
Lawton Tubes has revamped its website to become a one-stop hub where engineers and contractors can access detailed product information, technical data sheets, installation guides, interactive tools and downloadable resources.
The new platform - available at www.lawtontubes.co.uk - has been developed to make it easier for installers, especially younger professionals, to find the information they need quickly while working. It ties into Lawton Tubes’ Lawton Next Gen initiative, which aims to encourage young people to choose a trade as a career.
The hub features enhanced product pages with improved technical specifications, new data sheets for all products, and four comprehensive technical guides tailored to the plumbing, HVAC, medical gas and industrial sectors.
Lawton Tubes has kept its weight and pressure calculators, while adding a new pipe sizing calculator from the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) and an interactive 3D pipe model, complete with step-by-step instructional videos to help installers better understand products and installation techniques.
