There hasn’t been much to celebrate over the past year, with obvious global crises largely putting a dampener on most things for most people.
However, throughout it all the nation’s heating installers and plumbers have been out there helping to keep the radiators warm and the water flowing at a time when being in a pleasant, cosy home is about the only comfort people can look forward to.
This means that this year’s Heating Installer Awards are more important than ever, as we really want to praise the hard work that installers have been doing over what has been a particularly hard year.
What are the Heating Installer Awards?
Now in its sixth year, the awards, supported by leading organisations from across the sector including Armacell, Danfoss, LG, Polypipe, CIPHE and Installer, provide an opportunity to recognise the best heating installers around the UK and highlight the hard work that they put in every day to provide customers with incredible levels of service and the highest quality heating systems.
Any installer can enter free of charge and there are even several categories for them to choose from. Firstly, there’s the regional categories, which aim to crown the very best heating installer in nine different UK regions. All of these regional winners are then put forward as entrants into the national award.
In addition, the sustainability category awards installers that have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to sustainability and who can prove that they’re working hard to reduce their environmental impact. Then last but not least there’s the Rising Star award, which is a great way to shine a light on some of the industry’s best up and coming talent.
For all the categories there’s a long list of prizes on offer - and not to mention the accolade of being able to call yourself a Heating Installer Award winner! The grand prize for the national winner includes a free trip to Denmark to relax, take in the sights and visit the Danfoss HQ.
How can I enter?
It’s easy to enter and you’ll be supported by the helpful awards team each step of the way. Installers can either submit their entry online by clicking here, or they can give the awards team a call on 0161 871 1188 to discuss their entry over the phone.
The deadline for entries is coming up quickly, however, as you only have until the 21st March to tell the team about your project and make sure that it gets put before the judges. The regional winners will then be announced in May with the national winner being unveiled at the InstallerShow in September along with the Sustainable and Rising Star award winners.
