Instantor, market-leaders in press solutions, has further enhanced its market-leading Instantor Press System by incorporating its Leak Before Press (LBP) Technology into fittings as standard.
As installer schedules become increasingly squeezed, the trade needs as much support as possible from manufacturers to help them work more efficiently and maximise productivity each week. Instantor’s Leak Before Press feature helps by providing a visual alert for any fittings that have not been pressed. This allows installers to complete any outstanding presses before leaving site, avoiding the time and cost associated with attending call backs. In addition, unpressed fittings that have been overlooked can result in costly water damage, project delays and customer dissatisfaction.

First introduced at InstallerSHOW 2025, a year later the Leak Before Press functionality is now provided, as standard, across Instantor Press fittings. In addition, the fittings are built to last with CW617N brass bodies and 304 stainless steel sleeves, delivering tight, secure, leak-free seals every time. Fittings also come with WRAS, KIWA and NSAI approval and are EPD verified.
The Instantor Press system also includes a range of Pex-al-Pex pipe options. Pipe and fittings are both guaranteed for 50 years (when used together).
