The cost of living crisis has highlighted the need to make our homes more energy efficient. We know that to meet our Net Zero targets, we will need to retrofit more than 400,000 homes across Essex, delivering lower energy bills, improved health and quality of life for our residents. Domestic retrofit is also a massive opportunity for our businesses and our economy, with the potential to create thousands of new jobs.
Essex County Council would like to invite CIPHE members to learn more about the challenge and the opportunity at our Spring Climate Summit: Meeting the Retrofit Challenge.
An array of excellent speakers will explore everything from central government policy to upskilling and training. The Summit is taking place in the Council Chamber at County Hall in Chelmsford.
