Three reasons to enter the Apprentice Awards 2017
The CIPHE Apprentice Awards 2017 are open for entries and are set to be a highlight in the plumbing awards calendar. Created to celebrate those who have found their true vocation in the plumbing and heating sector, the awards are open to anyone of any age, gender or background, who is studying a bona fide qualification that will lead to an NVQ/SVQ in Plumbing/Heating Engineering. Both CIPHE members and non-members are welcome to enter, so in our latest blog we explore three top reasons why you should put pen to paper on those entry forms right now…
1) The award has something for everyone:
Apprentices have three categories to choose from, and can enter more than one category:
- Heating (sponsored by HHIC)
- Plumbing (sponsored be BMA)
- Vulnerability (sponsored by CIPHE)
In each category you’ll need to demonstrate your knowledge, skills and understanding of your chosen area. To find out exactly what is needed, download the full awards criteria from the CIPHE website.
2) You can win a great prize:
How would £500, industry recognition of your ability and a trophy sound? Not to mention how great it will look on your CV? That is exactly what the three category winners will receive – and your first step towards that is to download the application form.
3) You get to celebrate your win in style:
Winners will be invited to a special Awards Luncheon at the House of Commons on 24th November, where they will be presented with their prizes. Now how many people in any career can claim that?
The adjudicators for the awards will be Tracey Richardson and Tony Kite.
The deadline for entries is 31st July 2017. So don’t delay, download the application form today or visit http://www.ciphe.org.uk/professional-members/apprentice-2017/ Good luck!
