The CIPHE is one of 43 professional engineering organisations that makes up the National Engineering Policy Centre. Together we have written to the Chancellor of the Exchequer on engineering priorities that the UK Government should prioritise in order to drive innovation and jobs.

Brexit Preparation Advice for the Plumbing and Heating Industry
With support received from the Government Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), the CIPHE has liaised with leading UK and international law firm, Penningtons, Manches, Cooper LLP to provide a series of advice videos, fact sheets and FAQs particularly relevant to the UK plumbing and heating industry on how best to prepare for Brexit whether there is a deal or a no deal departure.

Building a Safer Future
The next phase of implementation for the Hackitt review has arrived and there is a consultation phase running between 6th of June and 31st of July 2019.
The consultation seeks views on proposals for a new system of building and fire safety, with a particular focus at this stage on fire and structural safety in England.
The CIPHE is seeking the views of our members for inclusion in a response on behalf of the plumbing and heating industry.
