CIPHE welcomes new President
The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) held its AGM, today, Friday 30 June at United Insurance Brokers Limited in London. Geoff Westall EngTech MCIPHE RP was elected as National President, while Tracey Richardson EngTech LCGI MCIPHE RP was voted in as the Vice President.

Going for gold with the CIPHE Apprentice Awards 2017
Apprentices have until 31st July to enter the CIPHE Apprentice Awards 2017. Created to celebrate those who have found their true vocation in the plumbing and heating sector, the awards are offering an impressive £500 in prize money for each category as well as a special Awards Event later this year.

If you have been waiting for the long Easter bank holiday weekend to get that DIY project off the ground, step away from your tools and think carefully first. While most of us can do a half decent job of painting a wall, or replacing that door handle that always gets stuck, there are some jobs that should definitely be left to a skilled tradesperson.

The President's Dinner 2017
Education and career development was the theme of this year’s Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering’s (CIPHE) ‘Dinner with the President’. Held on the 8 March at the Founders Hall, London, some 50 guests joined President Paul Williams to a special dinner, celebrating his tenure in the Institute’s most coveted position.

Tim Sainty joins CIPHE
The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) has welcomed Tim Sainty to the role of Membership Director. Tim joins the Institute from the British Veterinary Association (BVA), where he spent seven years as Head of Membership and a further 10 years within the organisation in various membership positions.

Recognition and reward

CIPHE backs Government’s Industrial Strategy

Arctic blast to cause misery for households
