You may already have a trusty, competent plumber that you always turn to when the need arises. However, there are a huge number of people who will, for the first time, need to employ someone to carry out work on their plumbing or heating system.
Carpenters’ Hall, was the venue for the Livery Companies Skill Council awards ceremony, which took place on on 10th February 2014. Research carried out by BAE Systems and the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2013, showed that almost a third (29%) of respondents said they now see the training schemes as a viable option for their children. They admitted that five years ago an apprenticeship was not something they would have ever considered.

He is a specialist in ornate leadwork and has worked on many prestigious restoration projects at notable sites such as: the Tower of London; Kensington Palace; Mansion House; Thames House, Millbank; and Crosby Hall, Chelsea.
It’s every householders nightmare – it’s freezing outside and the heating hasn’t come on. Many things could cause this, but if you have a condensing boiler it is worth checking to see if the condensate pipe has frozen.
